Diana Del Cid was born and raised in California and is a first generation/ first year graduate student at Northern Arizona University pursuing an E.Ds. in School Psychology with a certificate in Positive Behavior Support. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Chico. She is currently involved as a Research Assistant in the “Puente de Cuentos” Project with the Institute for Human Development. The project aims to develop a dual language narrative intervention for bilingual students. Diana hopes to work in a Latino community and help promote diversity inclusion, work with families and connect them to resources so that their student can be successful. Through the Diversity Fellowship she hopes to gain a greater understanding in areas of developmental disabilities and disability inclusion so that she may better serve students within school districts as a school psychologist.
