Sharice K. Lane is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for approximately 10 years. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in Speech and Hearing Science. She continued her graduate studies at Rush University in Speech-Language Pathology. Sharice re-located to Washington, D.C., where she developed her professional interest in coaching caregivers and educators in language development and total communication methodologies for infants, toddlers, and young children. She has experience in both the public and private sector. She was credentialed as an Assistive Technology Practitioner and worked as an assistive technology manager at a therapeutic day school for students diagnosed intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and multiple disabilities. With a strong interest in program monitoring, evaluation, and policy, Sharice earned an additional graduate degree in Public Administration and Policy. She furthered her interested in global disability-inclusive society by working on projects for American University Institute on Disability and Public Policy and The World Bank Group. Sharice is currently enrolled in the Georgetown University Certificate in Early Intervention. She hopes to combine this knowledge with her most recent degree to develop and monitor disability-inclusive early childhood programs across the nation and globe.
