Rasheeda is a UCEDD Diversity Fellow at the Institute of Human Development and Disability, at The University of Georgia (UGA). She has a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from University at Buffalo. She has worked several years in the field for a non-profit, helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities maintain independence within their communities. She is a first year Master of Social Work student and is also in the Global Health Certificate program with the UGA College of Public Health. After graduation, she plans to obtain a Ph. D in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education. Rasheeda is excited to serve as an AUCD Diversity Fellow and is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and embracing all the opportunities to come.
