Allison is a LEND trainee at Westchester Institute for Human Development in Valhalla, NY where she will receive a graduate certificate in Children with Special Healthcare Needs and attends Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY where she will receive a Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. Allison was previously a student clinician at the Mercy College Speech and Hearing Clinic. In the fall, Allison completed a clinical externship at a local middle school. This spring, Allison is completing her final externship at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center before she receives her Master’s degree and begins a clinical fellowship in speech-language pathology. Allison is interested in researching healthcare disparities as a whole, and is especially interested in healthcare provision in rural areas.
