Brittany Given is a Diversity Fellow at West Virginia University Center for Excellence in Disabilities. She was born in South Korea, but was raised in West Virginia. Brittany is currently in her second year of law school. She has a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to law school, she worked at a disability rights organization, providing advocacy services for individuals with disabilities. Brittany also has a brother with a disability. She has always been interested in special education law, and, as part of her fellowship at WVU CED, she is developing special education resources for students with disabilities and their families.
