Cyrus J. Hajiran is a Health Professional Diversity & Disability Fellow at West Virginia University Center for Excellence in Disabilities. Born and raised in West Virginia, Cyrus is from the city of Wheeling. He is a fourth-year medical student at West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, WV. He is the class president of the Class of 2018 Morgantown campus. Cyrus serves on the MD Admissions Committee and MD Curriculum Committee. He is also a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

Cyrus is pursuing a Family Medicine residency at West Virginia University School of Medicine. The specialty is all-inclusive, and its scope includes all ages, sexes, genders, and organ systems. Through his fellowship experience, he wishes to increase his knowledge of health care considerations and services for individuals from diverse backgrounds and individuals with disabilities.
