Shin Ae Han is a UCEDD Diversity Fellow at the Institute of Human Development and Disability at the University of Georgia (UGA) and a doctoral student in the UGA Department of Education Theory and Practice.

During her undergraduate studies in early childhood education in South Korea and five years of working as a kindergarten teacher, she interacted with people with a range of physical and intellectual abilities. As a teacher, she often had children in her classes who were diagnosed with ADHD or autism. She is an advocate of teacher training programs for early childhood educators, particularly for preservice teachers, that includes a focus on inclusive education in the preschool classroom. Through her fellowship experience, she wishes to increase her knowledge of inclusive education and services for young children with disabilities and young children from diverse backgrounds.
