Increase the recruitment, retention, and advancement of individuals from underserved groups, including those with I/DD and their families, as full-time and part-time employees with a particular emphasis on leadership, faculty, professional, and clinical roles.
Increase the number and proportion of individuals from underrepresented racial, ethnic, linguistic, and disability groups entering the I/DD and related professions in direct service, policy, advocacy, and research positions to better reflect the diversity of the overall population of the U.S., its territories, and tribal nations.
