Work with the State or Territory DD networks, inclusive of UCEDDs, LENDs, Protection and Advocacy agencies and State Developmental Disability Councils to influence strategically aligned diversity, inclusion, and cultural and linguistic competence goals.

Re-focus MCC’s efforts fulfilling its mission to AUCD and its constituent membership by serving as a conduit for technical assistance, providing input into policy, and engaging in other support activities deemed necessary to advance the area of cultural and linguistic competence as mandated by AIDD and MCHB.

(For AIDD only) Develop overall strategic plan for AIDD, addressing its strategy for carrying out its mission, and incorporating diversity, inclusion, and cultural and linguistic competence in all aspects of its work.
